Meet Sherwood
Life has a wonderful way of bringing people together. For me, that journey began in China, where I was born and raised, before moving to Australia at the age of 16 to begin a new chapter. Like many who build a life in a new country, I learned to navigate different cultures and discovered that home can exist in more than one place.
Melbourne has since become the place where I built my career and where my own love story began. Building a life from the ground up has taught me to appreciate the moments that truly matter. It has also shown me that behind every meaningful milestone is care, preparation and the people who make it possible.
By day, I’m an actuary. It's a profession that has shaped the calm and thoughtful approach I bring to every ceremony, so you can simply enjoy the moments that matter most.
Having built a life between two cultures, I understand how meaningful it is when every family member feels seen, heard and included. Whether your ceremony is in English, Mandarin, or a blend of both, my hope is that everyone leaves feeling connected – not only to the words spoken, but to the story shared.
